Annual Caring Tree
The Caring Tree is a cherished holiday initiative organized by the Family Resource Center to bring joy and hope to children and families in need across the North Country. This 100% community-funded program ensures that children facing financial hardships receive essential winter gear, such as coats and boots, as well as toys and gifts from their wish lists.
Here’s how it works: Generous donors sponsor a child by selecting a tag from the Caring Tree, which includes the child’s age, gender, and wish list items. Donors then shop for the items, providing these children with gifts that make their holidays brighter and more memorable.
The program is rooted in the belief that every child deserves to experience the magic of the holiday season, regardless of their family’s circumstances. Through the kindness of our community, the Caring Tree not only meets the material needs of children but also shows families that they are supported, valued, and not alone.
By participating in the Caring Tree, you’re doing more than giving a gift—you’re making a meaningful impact on the lives of families in our community. Together, we can brighten the holidays for hundreds of children and ensure that this season is filled with warmth, joy, and connection.

Diaper Depot
At the Family Resource Center, we understand that diapers are a basic necessity for families with young children, yet they can be a significant financial burden. That’s why we’ve created the Diaper Depot, a monthly resource to help families in Coos and Upper Grafton County access diapers and wipes at no cost.
Our goal is to ease the strain for families in need, ensuring their children have access to clean, dry diapers that promote health and comfort. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve been able to provide this vital support to countless families.

FRC Community Baby Shower
Welcoming a new baby is an exciting time, but it can also come with many challenges—especially for families facing financial hardships. At the Family Resource Center, our Community Baby Shower is a special event designed to provide essential support to new and expecting parents in the North Country and Upper Grafton County.
This event brings families together with vital resources, supplies, and information to help them start their parenting journey with confidence. From diapers and wipes to clothing, baby gear, and more, the Community Baby Shower ensures families have the items they need to care for their little ones.
